The Exact Colour of Vacation
Turquoise water is just physics, which makes it no less unreasonable.
That impossible tropical blue has a boring explanation — white sand, shallow water, scattered light — and an effect that is anything but. Nobody looks at a lagoon and thinks about wavelength absorption. They think about resignation letters.
This set collects the sea at its most persuasive: sandbars braided like pale rivers, palm shadows laid on the water like rulers, reef edges where the shelf drops and the colour deepens a full octave.
Fair warning: as a wallpaper, this colour is a commitment. It will make eleven a.m. in February feel like a personal insult. Some find that motivating.
